“I would like to commend the wonderful work done by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, the Major Crimes Unit, and the JSU Center for Applied Forensics, which manages the crime scene. Without this extraordinary investigation by this entity, the chances of solving the pre-trial case will be very rare, “O’Dell said. I also want to thank Assistant District Attorney Summer McWhorter and Attorney General Bob Johnston for preparing this case for trial. ”O’Dell added.
“I thank everyone who worked hard on this case. Our law enforcement partners help facilitate our work by conducting thorough and in-depth investigations. We will continue to support the families of the victims in our thoughts and prayers.” These are understandably difficult times for them, but we hope that with this resolution, their treatment can continue, “said McHorter.
