Attorneydiction.com, – The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, the folding cellphone being made by Samsung, is alleged to come with a very small external screen, much smaller than its predecessor. This news is based on a leak from a Twitter user with the username chunvn8888.
In a tweet on his Twitter page, he described leaks from the screens of the latest devices from other brands, such as Vivo and Oppo.
If this news actually happens, it is likely that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will carry a 5.4-inch outer screen with a resolution of 816 × 2260.
This is exactly the same as the outer screen resolution of the Galaxy Z Fold2, which is only in a much smaller package. But let’s hope it’s actually 6.4 inches, considering the Fold 2 has a 6.23-inch outer screen.
It is widely expected that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 will be able to slightly grow the inner screen, which is from 7.6 inches to 7.7 inches. It still makes sense for the Fold 3 to load a slightly larger outer display.
Furthermore, as shown in the image above, the same leak provides some details about which manufacturer is predicted to be working on the screen for its newest foldable device this year.
Samsung itself, it is very clear that he is taking from the Samsung Display. Either for the Fold 3 or the Z Flip 3.
Correspondingly, Huawei’s supplier for the Mate X2 is BOE, for the inner and outer panels, while Oppo’s upcoming device will have a 7.1-inch inner screen from Samsung Display and a 1.5-2 inch outer screen from BOE.
As for Vivo, it goes the same route as the supplier, only the inside screen sourced from Samsung is foldable measuring 8 inches, and the outside made by BOE measuring 6.5 inches.
Lastly, Xiaomi’s Mi Mix Fold has a mix of suppliers for its inner screen, which is split between Samsung Display and TCL China Star Optoelectronics, while the outer screen only comes from TCL CSOT.***
