Villain in the sequel to Across the Spider-Verse!

Sony Pictures successfully released the movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse in 2018. The movie shows Miles Morales traveling through a parallel world and encounters Spider-People.

They work together to stop threats from all realities. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature.

With the huge success he’s achieved, it’s only natural that Sony would finally work on a soon-to-be-released series titled Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, which features Spot as the main bad guy.

But it seems that Spot appears in another movie. According to TotalFilm, Spot became the main villain of Spider-Man: Crossing the Spider-Verse and its sequel, Spider-Man: Crossing the Spider-Verse.

One of the film’s directors, Kemp Powers, discussed Spot’s relationship with Miles Morales, though Powers did not explain how Spot and Morales met in the film.

Spot is an interesting villain because he looks like a game, but if you look at his strengths, there are a lot of them. His ability to open portals through dimensions makes him a great fit for the Spider-Verse. He’s the other villain in two movies… Consider it a place Miles is surprisingly connected to. Kemp Powers said.

Power revealed, Spot confirms that he is the next villain in Spider-Man: Crossing the Spider-Verse. If there are no restrictions, the film will be released on March 29, 2024.

Meaning, the movie was released about a year after Spider-Verse. First up, we take a look at Across Spider-Verse, which is set to be released on June 23, 2023. In this film, Spot is joined by Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy’s Spider-Woman.

Later, Miles Morales and Spider-Woman were joined by versions of Spider-Man from other universes such as Spider-Man 2099 (Oscar Issac) and Spider-Punk (Daniel Kaluuya).

Jake Johnson returns as Peter B. Parker, the old version of Spider-Man who helped train Miles Morales in the Spider-Verse. Across the Spider-Verse makes for an interesting movie for Miles Morales because he interacts with so many different characters.
